Description
LOIRE SAFE Hydraulic Press – High-Performance System for Tooling and Heavy Forming Applications
This high-performance hydraulic press, designed in a rigid 4-column portal frame construction, is ideally suited for demanding applications in toolmaking (tryout / spotting) as well as large-scale forming operations. The stress-relieved welded structure ensures maximum rigidity and long-term process stability.
The machine is equipped with three main cylinders and a multi-cylinder parallel control system, achieving high repeatability in the range of ±0.1 mm. The powerful hydraulic system, based on Bosch Rexroth components, operates at a maximum working pressure of approx. 450 bar, delivering both precision and high pressing force.
Control is handled via a Siemens S7-317F PLC combined with servo-controlled axes (Rexroth MLC) and visualization through Siemens WinCC. This setup enables fully programmable press cycles, storage of tool parameters, and user-friendly operation with integrated diagnostics and fault monitoring.
In terms of safety, the press is comprehensively equipped with front and rear light curtains (Category 4), ram parallelism monitoring, emergency stop with defined reaction time, and optional two-hand operation. The system is CE-compliant and meets modern safety standards.
The equipment includes a hydraulic three-part die cushion, a hydraulic ram cushion, and a sliding table with approx. 4,000 mm stroke. Additional features include a DIN-standard pin field and integrated shock damping for demanding forming processes.
